Tips before your Reading

Before having a reading of any kind (whether it is done by email, by post or even face to face) it is important to clarify what you want to know. A good client makes a good reading, so we would like to offer a few tips so you get the best reading for your needs.

First, formulate your question/s. This may sound obvious but some people decide to have a reading when they have general anxiety about the future or they feel something is amiss in their lives but they have not yet tried to pin down the source of their unease. It is perfectly OK to have a feeling like this and go for a reading. However, in many cases there is something at the centre of the unease and you need to focus on this.

Tristan deals with all sorts of questions. Not every reader can deal with every type of question and some subjects may be better dealt with during a different type of reading. For example an aura analysis will not give you a prediction about the future.

Readers in general use a variety of methods, each is equally valid. Tools such as Tarot cards, a crystal ball or other items simply act as a focus for the reader to reach their state of Knowing. Many use a combination of methods and the Knowing can come in many ways, for example some may see pictures (clairvoyance), some may hear voices (clairaudience), some may have feelings (clairsentience). Some may deny any of this and say they simply read the cards (or whatever they use ) analytically. It is impossible to describe one's own state of Knowing but everyone has it to some degree - for example when you know the phone is about to ring, or who is calling you, just before you pick it up. Tristan is using all of the above methods plus more.

Since the majority of the readings we provide on this website is done by email or post (because they are so popular, not anybody can arrange a face to face reading for obvious reasons like distance, waiting period-if Tristan is not in the UK since he travels frequently abroad visiting international clients) it is important to give as much information as you think is appropriate to help Tristan's focus on the issue/s you are interested to hear about and form your questions accordingly when you send your order.

It is NOT essential to provide any information at all (except for your full name, date of birth and a photo would definitely help) or ask any questions. Your reading will be equally successful without any information from you and it will be mainly about your love life/relationship, career/success, financial situation, family/friends, health and important messages about your past, present and future that they only make sense to you or not even to you at that time if they concern your future.

Never be afraid of a reading. A good reader is there to help, not to frighten. If you have any doubts, express them in advance if you wish by email or post, letting Tristan know that you are a bit nervous and hope nothing nasty turns up. He will reassure you and tell you what you need to know in a way that you can deal with.

Finally, remember that the future is not always fixed in stone. There are many possible futures and it is up to you to create the one you want. You have free will and a powerful creative force, use the reading to help you make the best choices. A simple example is that if a reader says "Beware of a hole in the road on Tuesday", you can choose to stay at home on Tuesday, you can go out and keep a sharp lookout for holes, or you can be fatalistic (or disbelieving, or simply ignore the advice) and fall down a hole in the road!
